Excerpt from Kimmie's Memoir

"Sitting here on my king-size bed, staring out the window at the St Regis luxury hotel in downtown Los Angeles waiting for Sonja to come back with my lunch from Mr. Chow before I go speak at The Women's World Leadership Summit. Sonja is my personal assistant, she’s been with me for almost 15yrs; we met in prison. I often think, how in the hell did I get here? How am I this successful that I can sit alongside billionaires on a stage in LA. How did I get to be so blessed when I don’t even attend church, not even for funerals!! I have a psychological problem with goodbyes. Am I God’s ugly Cinderella stepchild and he felt sorry for me and just gave me a break or did sucking my Psychiatrist's dick help me to come out of my shell? Sometimes I even think that ole Mr Washington was a pivotal part of my success, after all he is the one that taught me how to stroke men’s ego when I was 7yrs old. Yea, the hate runs deep for that one. But those ego skills did come in handy when I tried desperately to keep all 5 abusive relationships that finally ended with a pity party and Prozac martinis.

But one thing that I do know, that if I had to do it all over again I would do everything just the same, well except for Mr Washington, he was old and he stink! I would do everything again just to get to this point where I am able and not be ashamed of who I use to be to help my two daughters and women like you overcome all the bs that women endure day after day, relationship after relationship.

I guess you can say I paid the price so you don't have to. I would never want anyone to do that, it's very expensive, and if I must say so, the shit hurts like hell too. I’m sure your story may be more fucked up than mine, but now I have the courage to tell the world my story with my head held high, and I’ll show you the blueprint to do so too.
